In celebration of Lung Month, OPPI conducted a one-day activity at the Lung Center of the Philippines entitled “Relaks ka Lungs” last August 2017.
OPPI gave out personal kits to patients at the Outpatient Department and MDR-TB section. A lay forum was conducted by Dr. Tarcela Gler, the former Medical Director of OMRC (Otsuka Manila Research Center) who talked about multi-drug resistant tuberculosis- its prevention and how to avoid its spread to family members.
