As a response to the devastation caused by Typhoon Yolanda, OPPI embarked on a fund-raising project which drew the support not only of its local employees but its affiliates as well. The funds collected were used to rebuild a Rural Health Unit in Barangay Sulangan, Guiuan, Eastern Samar, complete with hospital beds and other equipment, making it operational once again.
