Otsuka Philippines Rolls Out Training Programs to Empower
Employees and Build a Great(er) Place to Work

In today’s modern workplace, employees consider more than just pay and benefits when deciding whether to join or stay with a company. Increasingly, they look at workplace culture—specifically, whether they will feel valued, supported, and given opportunities to grow.

With this in mind, Otsuka (Philippines) Pharmaceutical, Inc. established its Training Department this year to provide employees with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in a dynamic environment.

This November, the Training Department successfully conducted two internal trainings.

The first was a two-day Business Analysis and Planning Workshop held on November 6–7, designed specifically for our salesforce leaders.

In partnership with the Office of the President and the Finance & Accounting Department, we also concluded our first pilot Collaboration/Community Workshop last November 24. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and community within the organization, strengthen alignment across departments, build a deeper understanding of each team’s roles and processes, and support OPPI’s journey toward becoming an even Great(er) Place to Work. It also reinforces the importance of consistently delivering quality service to our customers as an ISO certified organization (ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System).
